An Employee Changehouse was completed
during 1977 in conjunction with the
installation of a security fence about
the Plantsite Area. These improvements
confine asbestos contamination to within

the Plantsite where it can be controlled.

A Powerhouse upgrading program has been

cneiae to eliminate small diesel engines.
In addition, a closed loop cooling. system

is under construction. This will eliminate
the discharge of engine cooling water from

the Powerhouse into Troutline Creek.

TOWNSITE

In 1968 a Sewage Treatment Plant was
installed. This eliminated many septic

tanks.

A paving program was instituted to reduce
fugitive dust problems from vehicular

traffic.

A Reclamation Program has been ongoing to

vegetate, where practical, areas which may

be subject to erosion or dust release.
