narrow and deep channel. Only a few bedrock outcrops occur along the
sides of the valley and at only one place in the valley bottom along the west
side of the creek near its mouth. ‘The position of the deep channel near the
mouth is not known; it may extend either down Williams Creek valley or
along Pleasant valley. The drift filling of the valley has a maximum depth
