The meeting wds attended by 107 members and also a few interested associate mem- bers. Acting President Reg Ash opened the meeting and explained that over the past year the club executive had evaporated to the extent that he was the only elected member left on the executive. Mr. G. Leathley and Mr. Al Wagner had been appointed to sit on the board to com- plete out the 1975 term. Your 1976 car insurance rates are not available in Cassiar up to this date but they should be arriving fairly soon. The 1976 insurance is not available until February 16th but we ask you to avoid the rush that always takes place on February 28th. Come in a few days early if you require your vehicle every day otherwise you may have a long waiting time. Mr. Ash explained that a great deal of effort had gone into trying to obtain proper plans for the renova- tion of the snack bar, but so far had not been success- ful and recommended that we use local engineering to If your vehicle has been registered in B.C., you draft up the plans. should receive a form in the mail stating the amount of your premiums if you want the same insurance coverage as last year. We have also obtained the services of a recreation co-ordinator, Mr. Jeff Such, and we have great hopes that our recreation program will be a great benefit to Cassiar.. Mr. Such also addressed the assembly asking for their cooperation in the programs that he will attempt to produce over the coming season and if he can get the individual clubs to cooperate under one organization, a lot more can be accomplished.
