E2 - Total of ore and waste actually removed to August 31, 1974, plus scheduled
ore and waste removal for last quarter to December 1974.

E3 - Total of waste removal (actual) to August 31, 1974 and waste removal
O (scheduled) from September 1, 1974 to December 31, 1974.

EL - Difference between E2 and E3, i.e. ore delivery to primary crusher. After
crusher, ore grade is concentracted and approximately 20 to 25% low grade re-
jected.

E5 - No reliable data is available to allow reasonable estimate. It may be noted
however, that drills are equipped with Rotoclones (inertial collection) and
during 1976. Shall all be equipped with fabric filters. Most of the year,
mining conditions are such that dust losses prior to crushing and drying are
minimal.

E6 - Estimated as 0.05% waste tonnage.
ET - Estimated as 0.5% of net tons milled for period.

E8 - Estimated as 0.5% of tons dried (691,480). Cyclone collectors used for ex-
haust gas cleaning.

E9 - Up to July 1973, dryer exhaust cleaned by cyclones. After July 1973, fabric
filtration through NOMEX cloth used. Therefore, estimate is based on 0.25%
of tons dried in 1973 (861,551).

_ E10 - Dryers equipped with NOMEX filters rated at over 99.95% collection efficiency.
Therefore, drying dust loss estimated at maximum of 0.005% of tons dried since
¥ it is unlikely that even one tenth of dryer feed would pass into exhaust prior
©. to filtration. Projected tons dried is based on 630,387 (January 1 to August
31, 1974), plus 78% of 392,000 (scheduled ore delivery to crusher September
1 to December 31, 1974.) 22% rejection rate is assumed after crusher. Pro-
jected 1974 tons dried is thus 936,147.
