Radio and Television Programs "I hate television - I hate it as much peanuts. but I can't stop eating peanuts"....... Orson Welles Not very often do we have a chance to voice our opinion of the C.B.C. programs, but today is the day. Mr. Bob Halliday has recently been appointed C.B.C. Manager for the Yukon Territory which also takes in Cassiar. He has indicated his concern for more local production of both radio and television programs and a greater involvement in community affairs. He would be most happy to hear from one and all, their desires, likes and dislikes. He would appreciate your comments on pro- grams and reception. Put your comments on paper and send them to the Cassiar Town Administration Office. Either drop them in at the office or mail to Box 495, Cassiar, B.C. Mr. Halliday, along with some of the C.B.C. staff will be in Cassiar in the very near future. We would appreciate your com- ments so they can be presented to them whil in Cassiar. If you would like to see some changes made in the T.V. programs, now is your opportunity. R.L. The Haircut My son has trimmed his dangling locks. He's cut and let them fall. And all because of what he termed “The cruelest words of all." But.now he's past the long-hair stage, and though I'm no contriver; It did me good to hear him called, “A crazy woman driver."
