RECREATION What does it really mean to you and to me? To many of us it means 12 If you have ‘room in your car, or camper,.to take bottled beverages, or canned more than hockey, or baseball, food, ete. with you, would or skiing, or curling, or -.many other forms of activities. It also means being able to take advantaqe of the wonderful vifts available to us all-like picnicina, fishing, campina, hiking; just enjoving the beautiful thinas which surround us. But these gifts are quickly disappearing because there are too many PIGS on the loose who feel it is their duty to litter the lovely spots with broken and unbroken beer bottles and ‘other garbaqe. A case in point is lovely Eddantenajon Lake-beautiful clear water, lovely scenery, and above all, excellent fishing. On the July holiday week- end, we visited Eddantenajon because we had heard how lovely it is and what excellent fishina there is. — Vie enjoyed it immensely until it was time to leave, At the beach where boats are launched there were about forty fish heads and fish cuts in the water, littering the beach to attract flies-- qarbaae which some thoughtless PIGS were too lazy to bury, or to burn. I mist apologize to the four-footed variety of pias, They certainly wouldn't leave such a sickening mess. In a very few years, at this rate, our lovely lakes will just be qarbaqe dumps- monuments to selfish, unconsiderate people. it not be much better for everyone to pack the empties back to be put in the qarbaac can at home?
