over THE EDGE page 3 Wednesday, Oct 11, 1995 | recently attended a fairwell dinner for Dr. K. 6. Pedersen, at which he was fondly remembered, though his time here was short. Dr. Pedersen came to our school, to take the helm in our time of need, this summer. As acting president, he oversaw the day to day operations while a replacement could be secured. A lot can be said of the man for doing this, as he is about to take over as head of Royal Roads Military College in Victoria, and he > sacrificed his entire summer vacation for us. That he would do this | comes as no surprise to those who know him well. His list of ccomplishments is long and nclude being appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada, an attainment that does not come lightly. As well he has been the head of many a scholastic institution in Canada, and has devoted his whole life to raising FAREWELL TO THE KING (Above). br. K.6 Petersen smiles as he thinks happily of his time at UNBC and is glad that he will not have to eat anymore of the cafeteria nourishment. (Right). or (harles Jago smiles,(for the moment), and anticipates the onslaught of happy days to come.
