We have a building for all Youth programs that will
be completed for use in the very near future. The Cubs,
Brownies, Cadets and Sunday School will be using the ~
Youth Centre most of the evenings but during the day,
Monday to Friday, the Town Council are proposing the
building be used for a Day Care Centre. .

If you are interested in sending your children to
a Day Care Centre in Cassiar please phone the Town. ©
Administration Office - 778-7477. If there are enough

the expenses, but to hire a qualified supervisor, and
this is one of the requirements, you would still have to
pay a portion of the expense but a Day Care Centre would

Important Message

The Cassiar Town Council have been renovating the
the old bunkhouse at 230 Kennedy Street for the use of
various youth organizations such as Cubs, Brownies,
Cadets, Sunday School and possibly a Day Care Centre.
This has been done with all volunteer help up to date.

They are in need of a used refriderator and propane
cook stove; if anyone would like to donate a*workable
fridge or stove would you please call the Town
Administration Office.

Wanted -Day Care Supervisors

The Cassiar Town Council is looking into the ~
possibility of starting a DAY CARE CENTRE in the new
Youth Centre at 230 Kennedy Street.

a Grade 12 education and also take a 6 weeks course in

If there are enough people interested it may be
possible to have the Northern Lights College put on the
course here in Cassiar.
