There were trophies for Ist, 2nd, & 3rd in the Cross Country as well as a trophy for the Slalom Ist place. Wie have all -had a lot of fun this season and plan. to round it up with a banquet and social for all 30 members and their quests at which time the Annual Trophies will be presented. Only one thing could have made this a better year - "MORE PEOPLE". Five succeeded to bring back medals. As nart of the Lions' Winter Carnival, informal ski races were organized by G Baker and H. Weinmann, The winners of these races were: Girls under 11 - J. Hubbell T. Tischler L. Freqonese (Wh — The big ski event for Cassiar, was the April 15-16 Ski Meet. 39 neople entered the races, which were Slalom (Sat.) and Giant Slalom (Sun.). 20 visitors came in from Watson Lake as competitors and snec- tators. The weather coonerated for the races, except for a slight wind, and the races came off quite smoothly. Medals and aggregate trophies were presented on Sunday afternoon.
