CLAY Beds of glacial lake clays are found along Halfway, Beatton, Minaker, and Prophet Rivers. The deposit on Halfway River is 3 miles east of Pink Mountain, is 5.0 feet thick, and is varved in beds ranging from 3 to 24 inches in thickness.
