CAPITAL EXPENDITURES Increasingly large amounts of capital have been expended on environmentally related projects at the Cassiar operations. In fact, the capital require- ments for these and future projects are becoming so large that Cassiar's known ore reserves may not be able to economically support all of them. This potential problem is of vital concern to all persons or agencies directly or indirectly deriving benefit from this primary resource industry.
