To those interested in the smaller denizens of the Park, it is of particular interest to be able to trace within a day’s boat-run east and west the transition from the forms characteristic of the interior plateau to those typical of the coastal wet belt. Intending visitors should bear in mind that the present facilities for the handling of travel through the Tweedsmuir Park area are limited. It is important, therefore, that arrangements be made well in advance of the projected trip. Such arrangements can be made to the best advantage by reference to the local authorities, whose names can be obtained on application to the Bureau of Tourist Development, Depart- ment of Trade and Industry, Parliament Buildings, Victoria, B.C.
