ordinating the assembly and the

fore and after the assembly.

The Tahltan Tribal Council
held their 15th Annual Assembly
in Dease Lake at I.R. #9 three
miles north of the town.

On the first day the meeting
was called to order at 2:10 pm
with an opening prayer given by
Mr. Bud Simpson. Pat Edzerza
welcomed all members, associate
members and guests, followed by a
welcome address given by Ron Car-
lick and Louis Louie, the chiefs
of the Tahltan and Iskut bands.

Day two dealt with nomin-
ations for Secretary Treasurer
and four Board Directors. The
