A farewell party was held on Friday, Sept. 21st in honour of Mr. Barnev Kovacs (Production Superintendent) and his wife, Margaret. Highlights were the presentation of a gift to Barney bv Mr. Caron on behalf of the company for his service with Cassiar from April 29, 1968 to September 21, 1973, a presentation by Mr. Zemenchik on the behalf of the Mine, Mill and Equipment Garage staff, and a presentation by Mrs. Linea Baldwin to Margaret on behalf of the Cassiar School staff. Mrs.° Kovacs taught the kindergarten classes and French classes at the Cassiar school sinte her arrival here in 1968. Barney leaves Cassiar to take a position as MALLE AES t of the King Beaver Mine of Asbestos Corporation, Thetford Mines, Quebec. Mr. Zemenchtk presents a gift to Mr. Kovacs on behalf of the Mill, Mune and Equipment Garage. Mr. Caron presents a gift to Mr. and Mrs. B. Kovaes on behalf of the Company. AA AA RA RRA RRA RSA a Two parties were held for Hellen Joseph and Leo Duri last month in the laboratory. Both of them went back to school on September lst after 1's years of working in the laboratory, Hellen as a laboratory technician and Leo as test mill operator. The lab. staff gave them a present: a chain with a gold nugget to Hellen and a cigarette lighter to Leo.
