DENTAL HYGIENIST’S VISIT A special thank you to Joan Tomczak for the screening she conducted on. our Kindergarten, Grade One and Grade Seven classes on May 18th. The students in other classes really en- Joyed her presentation about dental - hygiene and were grateful for the new toothbrushes she distributed! — GRADE SIX FIELD TRIP Our Grade Six Class will travel to Lower Post on May 15th to attend a Totem Pole Raising Ceremony at the new Denetia School. Special thanks to Norma Ray and to the Parents who assisted Mrs. Tyne in making this trip possible for the students. ASSEMBLIES The Grade Two Assembly presented on April 29th was thoroughly enjoyed by all who at- tended. for a job well done! The Grade Seven Assembly was held on May | 27th. It also was a pleasure to be able to see. PEN MOMS The Grade Two Class would like to thank their Pen Moms for all their letters and also for the delicious treats they brought to the Pen Mom's afternoon. Despite the fact that the JobTrac program was eliminated in the latest provincial budget, a new program, “Tourism Civic Pride” is in the works. : Under the direction of the Ministry of Tourism, Recreation & Culture, Tourism Civic Pride will operate on much the same criteria as the scrapped JobTrac of last year.
