Two local rinks Suitchactad to the Swift
River Bonspiel on the week-end of 16th
February and both came home with loot.

Congratulations to AL Taylor's rink who
captured the 2nd event and lst prize.

| 4th prize in the 3rd event.

| The Ormac Equipment Supply trophy com-

| petition ended with a victory for Danny

| Legros. The completion of this compet-
| ition was much delayed with several group
| ties and mild weather causing water on

| the ice and making play impossible, but

| Tuesday night saw Danny, with John Mahon,
| Ella Steen and Lloyd Selk, beat Al Taylor's
rink of Al Nick, Ed Saremba and Bob Hallam.

| McDonald's rink won Group 1 with four
| straight wins. Groups 2, 3 and 4 had
| 2-way ties - Vito Demitri and legros,
| McKenzie and Howden, Juraski and Al
| Taylor. Legros beat Demitri, McKenzie
| beat Howden and Al Taylor beat duraski.
| In the semi finals, Legros beat McDonald
| and Taylor beat McKenzie with Legros
| meeting Taylor in the finals.
