movie is that a banker for some
terrorists is involved in a high
stakes poker game. Bond, having
just received his double-O status,
is sent to be the man who beats the
terrorists out at their own, ahem,
game. The stakes are high and
if Bond wins he will cripple the
income for some terrorist oper-
ations. :

That is the most basic outline
of the movie, but the film manages
to swing.to many different locales
and actions, so don’t worry if you
think you may spend the movie
trying to read poker faces.

This is Daniel Craig’s first
time as James Bond, the infamous
secret agent, and to be perfectly
honest, he nailed it. He plays a
more chiseled, hardened Bond
than the previous ones. Whereas
Brosnan was suave and groomed,
Craig is almost haunting in his
portrayal as a cunning, calculating
(good guy) killing machine.

His action sequences display
his physique as he spends half of
the time sprinting, and the other
half daringly hanging from pre-
carious ledges. I am sure stuntmen
play a role in his on screen caper-
ing, but you can’t deny Craig is in

points in the movie, and this is for
all the ladies reading this, he is not
shy about showing off his body.

This movie is what Bond
should be all about. No gadgets,
or gimmicks, designed to keep
Bond alive in very specific scen-
arios, but a story of a man who
uses his own strength and cunning
to keep the world safe.

This movie receives 4 % shak-
en martinis out of 5.

What the girlfriend

Well, I think Cameron really
hit it dead on with his review. The
movie was great.

If I were Kristy, I would think
the movie had too much fighting
and loud music. And all those car
crashes’4 Leple could get hurt’

I should not speak for her, so I
won’t say too much, but I will say
that not even halfway through the
movie Kristy fell asleep.

Since Kristy can’t say any-
thing, I’ll just go ahead and give
the movie another 4 martinis out
of 5.
