PEAKE Secretary, CyriL MAHONE Soccer, the major sport of the school, again came to the front, winning the Local District Senior League Cup and medals for the second successive year. Peake (captain), J. Starr, C. Mahone, S. Angus, P. Martin, F. Wilson, A. Wilson, G. Brown, C. Williams, O. Adams, P. MacKay, M. Leeson, G. Auckland, J. Barton, Mr. E. E. Mower managed the team and Mr. E. Peake again displayed his ability as a soccer coach. Four members of the team, E. Peake, G. Brown, F. Wilson, C. Mahone were chosen for the all star team to represent Chilliwack and districts in an exhibition game with the University of B. C. Cyril Mahone’s playing as full back was one of the outstanding features of the game. During the Basketball season many interesting and successful games were played, the senior team winning the Intermediate B League and cup for the Fraser Valley with the junior team in third place.
