dance in which a reproduction of this formidable creature, 20
feet in length plays a prominent part. This Secret Society dance
is carried out realistically and works by clever trickery the
apparent tragic death of the dancer, the whole affording an
example of simulated death and resurrection, a common feature in
the rites of these Secret Societies.
