é Page 3 Gassiar Cadets The 2930 Cassiar Lions Army Cadet Corps was visited by Northern Command Cadet Headquarters Staff on January 12th. Warrant Officer, Fred Mansell, and other Cadet officers inspected our unit's Administration, Supply and Training Records and brought along an excellent training film on Northern Survival. During this visit they laid on an extra treat for the Cadets and officers. Officers of Northern Command's Regular Forces, Air Element, took Cadets Roger, Wyatt, Scott, Connie, Gordie, Dale, David. and Yvonne on an orientation and joy flight over the Cassiar area. The flight offered an excellent view and opportunity for picture taking. Movies of the rugged country surrounding our community were taken as well as of the mine and townsite. We are now anxiously waiting to view the results of our movie making adventure.
