In- terbeds of thin bedded, flaggy sandstone occur. Throughout the area in which the thick-bedded sandstone is found, the dips are flat or gentle. The recognition of this massive band of sandstone is important for prospectors, for the known coal horizon is found about 200 feet below its base. RI Nr ee
