WW Link silaploat hed NEW YEAR'S MESSAGE As you Look at the twekve months ahead, you know that many things will happen. The twelve months are atk part of the.same year; yet each month will be diff- erent. Some months will be work months and others will be vacation months. Some months will be be filled with excitement and others wikl seem dull. Yet all the mo- nths are bound together into one year. In the same way the church 4s made up of many kinds of people. Saint Paul says it this way: "There 4h netther Jew nor Greek, there 4s neither slave nor free, there 44 neither male non female; for you are all one 4n Chrtst Jesus". This 45 a good description of the church. The church 4s not a chub for certain types of people. The church 44’ for everyone who believes that Jesus Christ 4s thetr saviour. The one thing that ties the twelve months of this new year together 1s not that they are exactly alike, but that they belong to the same year. The one thing that binds Christian prople together is not that they agnee on everything, nor happen to be Like one another. Christians are bound together in their belies that Jesus Christ 4s their saviour. This coming year, Lets not Look at each others differences 40 much as remember that all of us are bound together into one family in Love'and the service of Jesus Christ. hy al ale ally ar al oho ae afl alin ale Peter B. It was truly a delight to see their happy faces as they sang and performed in the Church in front of an appreciative audience. The Sunday School teachers take great pride in their pupils work and effort throughout the year. The older boys and girls in the Church presented a costume play in three acts entitled, "The First Christmas" directed by Rev. Peter Nissen and Mrs. Beverly Kruithof. The children were rewarded for their efforts with a bag of Christmas Candy and the ladies of All Saints Com- munity Church served refreshments for the adults after the play. Rev. Mr. Peter Nissen and Mr. & Mrs. Paul Wood thank the parents for their support throughout the year and for making the Christmas Pagent a success. Humphrey Construction Co. Ltd. generously feted the families of friends and employees alike at their Christ-— mas Party held Saturday evening, December 14 at Humphreys Camp. The delicious fare was highlighted with suckling pig, roast turkey, glaced ham and a variety of sea foods. Christmas pudding with rum sauce and light and dark fruit cake completed the scrumptious meal. A friendly convivial atmosphere warmed the guests as Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wilson, party hosts, saw to the needs of their guests throughout the evening. The Humphrey employees have left town for Christmas but are é@éxpected to return with renewed vigor to get on with the big job in the New Year.
