Page 4, The-Cassiar oe sect = eMisncaenid 1974, Grade 4’s Off To Vancouver The Grade 4 class from our Cassiar School is planning a week-long trip to Vancouver in early Anr?1 Some of the projects this enthusiastic class is handling include weekly hot dog sales, a raffle, the Skate-a-thon, a Friday night or two at the Rec Centre Concession as well as two booths at the Cassiar School Carnival. They have received much support from the community at large as well as in- dividual and group donations. (Mr. J. Jack and the Cassiar Lions). Thank you for your contributions thus far - we will let you know the results of our travel fund and the success of our trip in future issues. February 16, 1974, at which we will have handicrafts, donated merchandise, baking, etc., for sale, as well as games of chance bingo, and door prizes. In addition to donations from many outside business : firms, one of the canvassers listed below will be calling on your family sometime between February 1 & 8, 1974. For any donations you may wish to make: - Perhaps a painting you have done or something you have knit, sewn, built, etc. Someone in your family may wish to donate his or her time to’shovel a roof or do some other odd jobs. - Baking (which we will not pick up until February 15 or 16.) - Any new odds and ends you don't need.
