onstruction Of New Homes
Commences

this year Mr. W. Zemenchik, Mine
Manager, announced that Cassiar
Mining Corporation would have a
contractor build 25° — 93 bedroom
Homes with full basements during
1990, 21 for Cassiar Mining and 4
fone thejobec. Building Corpara-
tian.

The homes were purchased
fram Chilliwack Manufactured
Hones located in Chilliwack,
Bers Qn July 5S, 1990 the first
foundation for the new homes was
poured.

There are three designs A,

B, and © with a square footage of
1,104 5n the A 2 Ban 1,249 on
the C design. All the hemes have
a complete basement with (“the
gyproc campleted and the side
walls ta the top level of the
concrete.

The scheduling for the deli-
very of the homes waS no easy
task as the homes were built in
‘Chilliwack, B.C., in two sections,
and each section had to be trans—
ported by road from Chilliwack ta
the Arrow dack in Vancouver,
placed on a barge and barged to
the Cassiar dock in Stewart,
B.C., unloaded and transported by
road to Cassiar.
