The Air Force flew the boys on an RCAF Hercules from Whitehorse to where they gathered at the site some 20 miles north of Yellowknife. Here the boys took part in obstacle courses, field cooking and countless other lessons and amusements directed by ingenious Scout Masters for the betterment of these young citizens. Taking part in the Jamboree from Cassiar were: James Flanagan, Brian Caron, Paul Royds, Otto Kliment and Theo Van Heel. They were joined in Whitehorse by two Clinton Creek Scouts, Robert Lovell, Jr., and Michael Shannon. Al Flanagan drove the boys to Whitehorse and Bill Royds brought them back home after it was all over. These very luck, very happy 700 boys will have something to talk about for a long time to come. * H# ee HH HH Brownies and Guides will be starting up for the fall season during the latter half of September.
