The Coldsnap 2011 line-up is now available

For those of you who have been faithful past Folkfest and
current Coldsnap attendees, the good news has arrived! For
those of you new to the music festival scene, this is the year
to get excited. The line-up for the upcoming Coldsnap Music
Festival was recently
announced, and so far
itis shaping uptobethe
best line-up from the
previous three year’s
events. The Coldsnap
festival never fails to
provide the citizens
of Prince George with
a wide diversity of
musical talents from
near and far, and the
upcoming event will
not only meet, but
perhaps exceed that
expectation.

So what exactly is
Coldsnap, anyway?
As their website
states, Coldsnap is
a “nine night winter
music _ festival.

Each night has a
different theme and
features outstanding
musicians.” Due to the
lacking numbers over
the past few years,
the former summer
Folkfest was transformed into a unique winter event three
years ago. In January, the different shows will take place
on the evenings from the 21 to the 29. Ticket sales have
already started and can be acquired at Books and Company,
Studio 2880, and the UNBC Bookstore. The venues will vary
depending on the evening's performers. This year there will
be various outreach workshops to attend that will focus on

“racism, diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion in music.”
The list of artists announced so far only include acts from out
of town, and in the future more will be added to the bill as well
as some local acts.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING CLAIMS FROM LAST YEAR (for students covered in 2009-2010)

All health and/or dental claims incurred on or before August 31, 2010 (for the 2009-2010 policy year) must be received
by the insurance company (Sun Life) by November 29, 2010.

In order to ensure that your claims are transferred by the deadline, they must be dropped off at your student society's office
no later than Wednesday, November 24, 2010. |f you're mailing claims directly to the insurance company, please leave adequate
time for delivery. The address for Sun Life is recorded on the back of all claim forms.

Claims received after the deadline will not be reimbursed.
