COUNTRY SKIERS

Rockies Ski Tours,"" NE
Rocky Mtns.

Prerequisite: Basic or an
avalanche awareness
course and some
experience in back-
country skiing. This will
be a practical course held
in mountainoys terrain
and will involve extensive
skiing. Course
participants will be able
to enhance their
abalanche safety skills by
directly participating in:
- Collecting and
analyzing snow and
weather data.
- Terrain analysis
- Evaluating avalanche
hazard in the field.
- Safe route selection in
avalanche terrain.
- Simulated avalanche
rescue,

Cost: $590.00 which
includes:
