NOTICE

Our Lady of Lourdes. Church is interested in

The Rt. Rev. John T. Frame, Bishop of Yukon,
will be coming to All Saint's Church, Cassiar
for a Confirmation Service and friends are
most welcome to attend this Confirmation
Service.

During the past eight months, Archdeacon
Privett has been coming to Cassiar from
Whitehorse for the service at All Saint's
Church. The Rev. Robt. Wheeler made several
trips in from Telegraph Creek for mid week
services in July and August.

Miss Shiela Green and Miss Rosemary Mills
came in with their Sumdy School Van and held
a Vacation Bible School for the boys and
girls early in August before continuing their
journey to Dease Lake.

New comers are welcome at All Saint's
especially those who have no church home.

Catechism Classes

The Catechism Programme at Our Lady of
Lourdes-Mission is now under way for school
children. Any child who desires to partici-
pate in this programme is welcome to attend.
The class schedule is as follows and is

grouped accordingly:

Kindergarten 1:00 p.m. on Friday
Kindergarten 1:00 p.m. on Monday
First Grade after school on Monday
Second & Third after school on Tuesday
4,5 and 6th after school on Tuesday

A programme for the upper grades is presently
being discussed and:the formation of such a
programme will be decided upon soon. Notices
will be set up regarding the time and place.

The Catechism classes for the children
attending school at Good Hope Lake are held
every Wednesday afternoon after school.

Choir practice will be held on Thursday
evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the trailer near
the ehurch but eventuallyswill be ahd into

.the Parish Hall. All are welcome: A

childrens’ choir is now being Forned and all
children who like to sing, with guitar
accompaniment are encouraged to meet in the
church every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.

A room off to the side of the Parish Hall
has been re-painted and is being made into

a clothing centre. Clothing will be made

available for anvone who is in need and
donations to this cause will be gratefully
accepted. Anyone willing to give of their
time to sort or mend clothes please contact
Joanie or Judy.

OCTOBER DONATIONS: ome Rosary - any

family wishing to invite others to pray tne
rosary in their homes please contact Parish
Council, Lay Staff or Father McAllister for
information and details.

On Saturday, October 28 at 8:00 p.m., Our
Lady of Lourdes Mission is sponsoring a
talent show in the community centre. EVERY-
ONE is welcome to participate and to attend.
