Bill Zemenchik was the worthy recipient of the Raybestos-
Manhattan Community Award this year, presented by A.C.
Caron at the banquet prior to the Firemen’s Ball.

The citation on the plaque read

1. President of the Arena Association.

2. Director of the Community Club.

3. Strong supporter of Junior Hockey.

4. Willing to advise, assist and raise funds for projects that
would benefit the community.

We all know and appreciate the long, hard hours Bill spent in
the planning, construction and administration of the Centennial
Arena. Our congratulations Bill, your efforts weren’t wasted.
