Cassiar Senior Hockey Club held their first meeting
of the year November 11th in the Arena Lounge. The 1975-
76 Executive were elected.

An Entertainment Committee was also elected and
a dance has been planned for December 6 in the Rec. Hall.
The New Executive would like to thank Don Loverin,
Roger Borsato and Frank McLean for doing a fine job for
last season.
- A large tum-out at this meeting should hopefully
make for a very enjoyable hockey season for those
interested in Senior Hockey in Cassiar.

RCMP Remind Snowmobilers

Now that there's enough snow for snowmobsling
enthusiasts to get their machines out of storage, the
R.C.M.P. are reminding owners that a snowmobele 44 a
motor vehicke and, as such, ts subject to a few rules
and regulations. a:

In a necent press release, Snoumobclens were nemind-
ed that when a snowmobile is operated on any part of a
highway, it requires a Licenced driver, ANsurance and
motor vehicle negistration and must conform with atl
aspects of a motor vehicle under, Ahe motor vehicles
ondinance. In Cassiar you must Obtain a peramt fom the
R.C.M.P. abso. \ :

illegal, and the snowmobile must be operated in a*manner
that does not create a nuisance or annoyance to nesrdents
It must yield to all other vehicles and be driven at no
more than 15 mph when on the streets of Cassian.
