UNBC is the only University in the League and_ the Men’s and Women’s teams are ready to prove that they are a team to be contended with. The Women’s team has seven returning players and one play- erin her fourth year of eligibility, Karla Stedham. The Head Coach, Loralyn Murdoch says that this will bring experi- ence to a team that has most of its play- ers in their first year of eligibility for the league. “I am really excited about this year and | think we have a strong team and we are getting better with every practice,” said Murdoch. The players are excited too. “It’s really exciting, we worked so hard last year to get accepted, the whole team is looking forward to being in the league. We have Say Little. NEW a strong team this year and we are look- ing to do well,” says Shooting Guard #9 Adelle Pereria, a Pe todd edie Timberwolves player. The first exhibition game, at home, for both the Men’s and Women’s teams is October 15 at 6:00 and 8:00pm. The game _ is_ against Kwantlen and is held at The College of New Caledonia.
