PGPIRG is looking for volunteers to help with their office accounting. We are looking for someone with the fol- lowing qualifications: * previous small business accounting experience &/or equivalent knowledge of accounting procedures and systems * experience using the ACCPAC Simply Accounting program The volunteer, along with the PIRG staff member would be responsible for calcu- lating employee paycheques, El, CPP, and Income Tax deductions, monthly remittances to Revenue Canada, and ‘would also help with the annual calcula- tion of T4’s etc. The volunteer would also assist the staff member with the routine month end accounting, this may include the recording of sales and revenue, expenses, etc. We are looking for a commitment of 3-5 hours per month. Technicians Description: Audio Visual Technician (Back-up) Position for a non-profit society. Part- time -- no defined hours. Paid on monthly basis. Experience in setting up and operating Audio Visual and Public Announcement Equipment. Need to be flexible with schedule and have access to a vehicle for off campus events. DJ services may be required for this position. Great position for student needing a few extra dollars per month.
