60 This township is reached from Hythe, situated in section 14 township 723 range 11 on the Souce-Coune~ 5 a Grande Prairie wagon read ani where the nearest store and telegraph office are established. The nearest post effies is Gootéfare on the southwest quarter of section 27 of this township. The local roads are in fairly cood condition. The country is rolling. A fine stretch of open country extenis northeasterly along the valley of the Beavertail creeks. It is about 2 to 2 miles wide with very scattered poplar blufise Almost all the land suitable for settlement is homesteaded although at present no large area is cuitivated, but in lisu of this some fairly large herds of eatile are run, the pasture being of the best.
