ALL SAINTS W.A. will hold their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 30th at 8.00 p.m. in the Church. Final plans for the basaar will then be made. The W.A. Ladies met at the home of Mrs. Gerdon Edwards on the evening of Oetober llth for a farewell gathering for Mrs. Bill Jeffrey, behalf of ‘the WA. Vi was presented with two Cassiar souvenir spoons. The Jeffrey family are leaving Cassiar for Yellow~- knife at the end of the week . Another WAS sponsored event was held en Saturday last in the Community Centre. Den and Yelma Edgecombe of wWhitshorse brought children's wear, teens and young men’s clothing and Town Toggery also of Whitehorse, featured a complete line cf ladiea’ wear, The fashion show was held at 8.00 and this time we had children and men modalling as well as our by now experienced (7) ladies. The children stole the show completely as they usually do, but the adult clothes were greeted with much en- thusiasm too. Everything wae on sale after and all day Sunday too.
