CASSIAR SUFTBALL LEAGUE DINNER —- DANCE The Cassiar Softball League wound-up a successful season with a Dinner and Dance on Saturday, September 8th, 1973. A presentatio dinner was held in the Arena Lounge for members only who enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal prepared by the girls of the clut Our thanks go to Sandy Crawford and all the great cooks that made the banquet a success. The dance was held at the Recreation Hall where a large crowd enjoyed a good time dancing to the sound of some of our local talent. We would like to thank the following businesses that supplied Door Prizes for the dance - Edmar Sales, Grant Stewart Construction and R & S Uhevron. , Although the Cassiar Men's All-Star Softball Team never came home with any trophies from the tournament held at Watson Lake, the week end of August 26th, they did give a very fin exhibition of good sportsmanship and softbal » oN ese q play-better luck next vear - guys!!
