FROM THE LIONS DEN...

The local Lions Club will
endeavour in the following
months to keep the people
of Cassiar informed as to
the projects and activities
of the Club.

The Lions Club donated
$200.00 to the Cassiar
Nursery School for the pur-
chase of new equipment and
will assist in the running
of the Nursery School in the
forthcoming year.

The Club collects beer
bottles every Saturday morn-
_ing and it is our intention
to have a card placed in
every person's home (many
residents have these cards
already) so that if they.
have bottles to be picked up
this card may be placed in
the window and the Lions
members will pick them up on
Saturday mornina.

We also purchased tickets
in the Club's name for the
raffle in order to place a
piano in the bar.
