FRED SWANSON PROMOTED

from Headquarters early this year was
that of Chief Clerk Fred Swanson of Van-
couver Divisional Headquarters, who moves
up to Sub-Inspector. Sixteen years with the
police, Inspector Swanson had 15 years’
law experience before he took up its en-
