ROD & GUN CLUB A PROSPEROUS START TO A NEW _.READING AT OUR COMMUNITY _. the tirst Annual Wild-Lite Dinner was held on December 1, 1973. A delicious smorgasbord of moose and goat steaks, moose stew and burgers, pan-size rainbow trout and salmon steaks were cooked up by the Dinning Hall Staff. “Approximatly 45 members and guests enjoyed the night out at this dinner. A special thanks goes out to the great hunters, B. Baldwin, L. Teveley, T. Soukup, W. Gillies, J. Mezes and D. Liverin for supplying the game, and also to the chefs that mastered the dinner. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 1973 Fishing Derby trophies. The winners were as follows: G. Galia - Largest Lake Trout - 34" G. Galia - Largest Dolly Varden - 26 3/8! G. Harvey - Largest Rainbow Trout - 18 1/2" M. Soderholm - Largest Grayling - 17" Enteries that came in second for Honourable mention: G. Galia - 2nd Largest Lake Trout - 31 1/2" T. The mine / in the middle thirties and the tow, ple were forced to Leave and out-- AS A MATTER OF INTEREST, I would mention, that alot of people in Vancouver and, I would assume, that the same applies to Edmonton and Winnipeg, are extremely vague as to where the Yukon is. A day or so ago one of the girls in our office called a Vancouver supplier and asked for a credit note for B.C. tax charged in- correctly on a Clinton invoice and the person in the supplier's office said, "I will have to check with our Manager to make sure that the Yukon is not part of B,C. before I can issue a credit note". Appalling but true. [ feel it's dis- graceful that some Canadians don't know their country and the geographic location of the provinces and territories. _ Our apologies to the Warehouse for omitting the color of their hard hats. You will see the Warehouse hourly paid ; employees and all junior staff in the Company at site wearing ''GOLD'' hard hats.
