The action was fast and furious in both = areas, with good healthy competition and comaraderie = developing throughout the day. At the end of all the ev- © ents, Atlin came out on top with 42 points, while the = Nighthawks intramural team placed second with 35 points x which was a fine showing, considering the fact that Cass- cq iar’s forces were divided into three intramural teams, La while Atlin and Dease Lake were at ‘full strength”. The 2 Cougars were third, the Panthers were fourth and Dease = Lake was 5th. During lunch hour, the grade 7 students, © with Connie Quash in charge, were very busy, selling ump- = teen dozen hotdogs to our own students and their visitors = and did a fine job of this under Mr. Kroeker’s and Ms. Tavener’s guidance, This was followed by a Sock Hop, where the primary students had the chance to ‘‘strut their stuff” with the “big kids’.
