We all four of uss sold two hundret and fifty Beaver pelts to Mr. Billy Strong, the Taku trading Co. Manager and in July 1931 we come back to Atlin. I stay in Atlin. I have done some trapping around Atlin town up tell March 1932. I go to Pike River to cut 16 cords of wood for the Dominion Govern- ment telegraph line man Mr. Blake. I finish cutting the wood on March 15, 1932. I got two dogs and they was as good as five dogs. ther nams Budd and Jimmy. Jimmy is the leader.:and Budd is the wheel dog. I tick good care of them. Dogs at them days worth a lots of mony so I got one red fox and 14 coyots worth 14 to 15 dollars, and red fox worth $55 and 6 good linx worth $55 dollar each. I sold 6 linx at $330, 14 coyot: $168, 1 red fox $55, total $553. Sold them to late Mr. Clarence M. Sands, the fur buyer in Atlin. So again I go back to work for Mr. E.W. Pillman as a far farm hand untill July 1932 I got married to Rosie Tate of Telegraph Creek and in late September I go to Teleqraph Creek. There I settle for 20 years. Mr. Harper Reed was the Indian Agent at that time and in the year of 1934 I bought 6 traps off a trap- per at 20 Mile River north of Nahlin telegraph station and Mr. Harper Reed the Ind- ian agent bought the traplin -e off of the white man Mr. Janes MNcdonald. There, eve- ry winter I trapp furs and in the summer I go to work for Mr. George Ball at the Dimond B. Ranch cutting hev with mowmachine and two horses pull the macheen. Thes two horses being bought from Louise Schulz of Atlin. The horse names is Strawber- ry Roon and Nick and in the fall I go out as cooking for hunters. For George Ball and I all so go out cooking for the Hudsons Bay hunters for two seasons. Finly -t year 1948 summer working for the Nelson Brothers at Port Edward for 5 seasons 1948-9-50-1-52 as a carpin- ter forman for 6 man as a repair crew under the Reduc- tion Plant that was the Late Johnny Bob, Andie Quack, Landrie Frank, Buster Dick and two other boys from Port Edward. September, my boss Mr. Cole- man transfers us, me and my son Pete Jack to north end of Atlin Lak to build a glac- er fence to ceep the glacer off the road and when we fin -ish that fence we move back to Atlin's and the forman Mr. Coleman give 75 cords of wood to cutt for the glacer controll which we finish in March.
