Several youngsters had a chance to show their musical skills again this month and as usual, did a wonderful job. A piano recital under the direction of Mrs. Lil Kamlah was conducted in her home, and all parents were invited to attend. There were two special guests present, Mrs. A. Powell, a pianist herself, and Miss W. Stibbards, a guitarist. The children performing in the recital were: Paul Caron; Barbara Kamlah; Shelley Overton; Sharon Plumb; Dianne Rushfeldt; Barbara Stewart and Karin Stewart. The children did a grand job of keeping all present well entertained. After the recital, as a special treat, Miss Stibbards entertained all with her guitar and everyone enjoyed a sing-song. Thank you to Mrs. Kamlah for organizing this event, and to all who participated. se # e # So ends the Social and Community Club news for this month. Please, if you know anything that is going on in town, let us know, we'd love to tell everyone about it. *e e* e# & & In looking through past issues of Clinton Creek’s “ROCK FLUFF”, we notice in the Oct.-Nov. (only bi-monthly???) issue under “‘Comment’’? that ‘‘the paper” (Rock Fluff) quote — “be revived in such a way that it would last, and that it would knock anything along the same lines into a cocked hat.” Well good friends, and we say this in all sincerity, we, think you have done, and still are doing a real fine job. However we do not intend to be knocked into a cocked or any other kind of hat. In getting from one piece of clothing (hat) to another, we toss down the gauntlet and challenge you to a healthy battle of wits. You may note that the most recent issue of the Asbestos Sheet a) has changed its format. b) has more pictures (only one in Oct.-Nov. (?) Rock Fluff). c) is very much people orientated. d) you can be certain it will improve ee & He SMILES AND CHUCKLES Two men who had never been ice fishing were going for the first time. They found a cabin near the lake at a resort and had to borrow an ice chisel from the resort owner. They went out early in the morning to try their luck. When they got back the resort owner asked, ‘‘Did you get any fish?" “Did we get any fish’’ the men exclaimed, “we barely had time to get the boat into the water.” -*# & & SPORTS NEWS BY D.
