Then, will you try to prevent fires? -A good fire is about the quickest way to Cause unemployrent. It is a threat to everyone's security, safety, homes and children. Yet this threat is ignored and continually we find infractions of fire . prevention rules. Often these infractions arise from ignorance end curiosity as when aman activates a ary chemical extinguisher and fails to turn it in for re-charge, or when a carbon-tet extinguisher is “practically emptied ard not replenished or even replaced in its. mointing bracket. Some months ago, al'l necessary | informition concerning fire extinguishers was organized and permanently posted on large signs. It cannot be reproduced | here for reasons of space nor is this warranted for it has net been effective. ‘Therefore it is. proposed at an early date ‘to arrange deronstrations showing how to use’ fire’ extinguishers and. their proper ‘maintenance. It. is hoped that your rull attention will be given at these fire ‘prevention meetings. Hi Ask questions and take part in them.
