The Pouce _Goupe river has its source in

Alberta in a Sough country knewn as the Seddle hills.

tion for a distance of 4 pproximaiely ten miles, te

two siresms. The river then flows in a generel north
easterly course te its confluence with the Peace river
whieh occurs about five miles below the intersection

places on both sides. The river valley oppesite Pouce

Coupe post office is about 150 feet cesp. The elevation

great extent, but the river valley euts deeper with the
deseent of the stream and at its rime with the
Peace its velloy is ahout 506 feet deer The lower
reaches of the stream, for eae distance of about ten
