Some day, when he grows up, this youngster wants to be a policeman, and he got some
expert advice when he talked to R.C.M.P. Cst. Robert Ross, who has been a policeman on
Vancouver Island since 1934, both with the old B.C. Police force and the R.C.M.P.

“Bobby.” as he is known on the island, was due for retirement next month, but his many

friends will be pleased to hear he has signed on with the force for at least another year.

Most of his police service has been at Shawnigan Lake and Victoria.
