Well, residence council may have started a little bit late this year but they are now in the full swing of things and are planning a wide variety of events for the students at rez. One that recently passed was the annual Gotcha game. It is like a tag game that involves pictures, at the beginning of this week-long event, you receive a photo of someonc and you need to go “get” them. When you do, the person is out of the game and you continue on with their collection of photos and so forth. In the end the person with the most pictures win. This year’s prize is a $50 gift certificate to anywhere you want. A congratulations to this year’s win- ner, . Other activities going on at rez right now includes Candy Grams and Chocolate Roses. Candy Grams cost $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Chocolate Roses are $1.00 each and you can buy a bouquet (that has 6 roses) for $4.00. Want to surprise your special someone? This year it is being held at Kinsmen Hall on Saturday February, 7th be sure to bring your ID. Residence council is able to organize these events and more because of the rez-life fee. The rez-life fee has not been increased since the school has opened and due to things such as inflation, we would like to see the rez-life fee be increased $5.00, from $15,00 to $20.00. Not only does the fee go towards residence council it also goes towards the RA‘s budgets to plan more useful and fun events. A ref- erendum will be held February 10th in the Neyoh Mail Room. photo by Marlon Francescini Rez kids are always up to wacky stuff, but there are some particularty fun activities coming up soon such as the semi-formal dance, the Neyoh -vs- Keyoh hockey game and the superbowl sunday BBQ Activism abounds on UNBC Campus Wondcring about those people Although acting mainly as Goat Watershed who seem to be carrying around cof- fee grounds and vegetable cores?
