NEWS FROM THE COMMUNITY CENTRE Christmas was a busy time at the Centre and one of the busiest days was December 18th, the Children's Xmas Party. Approximately 250 - 275 very enthusiastic youngsters ate goodies, re=~ ceived hats, ballons, noisemakers, presents, can- dy bags AND met Santa. Since our usual source of funds to support this party was cut by more than two-- thirds, we had to rely on outside help. A lot of thanks and appreciation therefore go out to these people for their generous donations: Bob Armstrong Cassiar Asbestos Corp.’ Grant Stewart Constr.
