Coe Feit 2 Tncaieat asst ™ Lis Se Mrs. Olson begins by explaining that when PERFECT ATTENDANCE the drama club started in November, 1972 there were 20 in the class but this play Those who received Perfect Attendance Pins was put together by the remaining hard core were: Marlene Overton, Gr. 2 of 10 pupils. Interjit Dhillon, Gr. 4 My reason for attending was first that IL Barbara Barker, Gr. 5 felt any project put together by pupils Glen Cousins, Gr. 5 should have adult support and secondly I Judson Overton, Gr. 6 enjoy "live" theatre. Bernd Tischler, Gr. 6 It is to be noted that other than Mrs, Julie Hubbell, Gr. 7 Olsons expert directing this play was Bernd Guderjahn, Gr. 7 otherwise produced and promoted by the Dino Fregonese, Gr. 8 pupils themselves, From start to finish this show was superb. We were told the acoustics were terrible but all the actors voices were so well pro- jected, not one word was missed. All lines were spoken with true feeling and as the play progressed the suspense was felt. Don Roe did an expert job with his sound and -: visual effects and the voice "Wenceslas Stepanek" sent eiry chills up everyones spine, Even Sandy at the moment of climax lost control and let out a shriek of terror. The actresses and actors were as follows: Miss Parrish,......Mary Comper Ruth Parrish......Barbara Schneeberger Esther Fraser......Sharon Plumb Martin Fraser......Ralf Voss Qwen Bennett.......Walter Comper Lottte .seeeeeeeessMargaret Jones TYPING AWARD pin was presented by Mr. Thank you all for a fabulous play very D. Handfield to Christeen Ball, well done! How unfortunate for those Cassiarites that forgot to attend - they missed a "show of stars".
