Cousins, * © e© 6 @ SPORTS Well, it's getting close to the finals in our Pre-Christmas turkey ‘spiel, but not quite close enough to nam the winners. It looks to m that Dale Levett will win the Ist group, Alex Briden the end, but the 3rd is rather difficult to determine. However, I would think that Capustin should win that group. Don’t know who will get the ‘hye! for the finals, but I would say that the © turkey winners will be either Briden or Lovett. (WOW, What a predicticn £3) There have been some very interest~ ing games in. this compstition, and a lot of excitement. It is really a good way to get the curling season started. By the way, the dues will be taken off the January cheques and I understand the first competition for 1962 will te Starting probably the first week in Jan. Posters should be up any day now. The first competition will be for the CONVEYOR trophy. In the other sports such as skiing, skating and the indoor sports——sometimes I wonder. It seems that we just can't get the community interested. What the solution is, I don’t know. If somsons can coms up with a solution, we would certainly like to know. We have finally convinesd the children that skating isn*t so bad after all.
