Glass rod: A glass rod is required to spread the mounting
solution on the slide.

Wheaton Balsam bottle: This bottle is used to hold the mounting
solution and has a special top which. helps prevent contamination
of the solution. A glass rod is included for dispensing the

solution.

Optical Equipment

A light field microscope fitted with phase contrast accessories
and capable of achieving a magnification of 400X-450X is required.
