CO ______ i re Ping Pong Tournament is Fun For All By Andrea Larson The Ping-Pong Club hosted its annual ping-pong tourna- ment on Saturday, February 10th. The tournament was played in a ladder format in which winners of each game moved on to the next level. The four players who were then left in the final round all played each other and the winner of all the games was awarded first prize. Many students and even some of the faculty came out to this fun and exciting event. Long time ping-pong enthusi- ast George Forrest worked his way to first place in the tournament, with Jonathan Wong and Fin Page in sec- ond and third respectively. This placing came as some- what of a surprise to first place winner Forrest, as he has never before won a game against Wong in a tourna- ment. Third place winner Page suf- fered a hard fought loss in the quarter final round putting him out of the running for first place. Despite this loss Page went on and composed him- self in order to defeat Craig Johnson to win the third place trophy. The Ping-Pong Club would like to extend a thank you to all students who participated in the tournament, seventeen in all plus the staff who helped aid in the preparation of the tournament.
